When your baby hits the 2 Month Old mark, you need to be prepared for all the shots they will undoubtedly receive. Getting immunized against disease is not fun but certainly necessary. Jack certainly didn't love it, and neither did Kerry and Dan, but their baby handled it very well. He now weighs 13 pounds and 12 ounces and measures 24 and a half inches tall!

Meanwhile, Kerry never believed she'd be able to fill a 6 ounce bottle with pumped breast milk, but things have certainly turned around! Week 37: Crossing the Bar

As Week 37 arrives, we are blessed to know that Kerry's pregnancy has officially reached full term, meaning that if born today, baby Jack would have a great chance at making it on his own.

However, there was concern this week as Kerry's blood pressure began to increase. Three separate visits to the hospital were necessary, and officials were concerned about the risks of preeclampsia, but luckily, Kerry and Jack are both in excellent health.

It is with a heavy heart that we podcast tonight. Just when a pregnancy is nearing its critical conclusion, you hope to keep the mother-to-be as calm as can be. However... After a long illness, Kerry's father Warren passed away today. The entire family was already together watching over him. Tonight, we know he is watching over us.

Rest in peace, Dad.

For many members of our family, Week 15 brought the first chance for them to see Dan and Kerry in over 20 years. It was also their introduction to the baby on the way in Kerry's tummy. The family reunion was wonderful, and perhaps there's a few members of the family tuning into the show for the first time this week!

In other news, Kerry's sense of smell has gone into overdrive around stinky bathrooms, and the book collection - for the parents and the baby - has begun to grow.

Kerry's mild morning sickness and aversion to certain foods appear to have passed; is the first trimester over already? While Kerry still feels big and doesn't like her wardrobe options, Dan recounts his first meeting with the OBGYN this past week. The highlight of that visit was seeing the baby dancing up a storm!
