Jack is 9 Months Old and we're on vacation in Florida! The whole family - Kerry, Dan, Jack, and even Nana - have come down to visit with Jack's Uncle Scott and Aunt Sonya. It took 36 Weeks and Jack has reached two amazing milestones: his first step and his first word! Or did he? 35 Week Old Jack has two teeth coming in and more on the way. This has most likely been causing him pain and that has kept him up at night. This, of course, has kept Kerry and Dan up at night as well. Things also weren't helped yesterday when they kept Jack out too late and he had a meltdown. With Jack safely asleep, Kerry and Dan discuss where things went wrong and some of the lessons they have learned. Also, Jack makes a "yummy" sound every time he has a bite of food; does he really find everything yummy?

If you thought a teething baby was trouble for a breastfeeding mom, add an erupting tooth to the mix. 33 Week Old Jack has a tooth coming in now - and perhaps a second! This - along with a change in Jack's sleep schedule and a plugged duct - has been giving Kerry a little trouble this past week. Kerry and Dan also tried making some baby food, and there's one piece of baby furniture Jack will be spending less time in.

32 Week Old Jack is still giving Kerry problems teething while breastfeeding; Kerry discovered that La Leche League has some tips that may be helpful. We also discovered that when Jack misses a nap during the day, it usually has a negative impact when he goes to bed at night.And with autumn arriving in New England, it's time to put away some of the summer wardrobe and dress Jack a little bit warmer.

After 7 Months of caring for a new baby, do you think Kerry and Dan have their schedule all set now? The presence of 7 Month/30 Week Old Jack still manages to disrupt some plans, though he is on a bit of a regular schedule. Try fitting laundry, food shopping, cleaning, and seeing the brand new movie Snakes on a Plane into the day, however, and you'll find it a wee bit difficult.

Not only is 28 Week Old Jack crawling; he's trying to kneel and stand too. That has led to some pretty good falls, especially on his head! He's doing fine though, enjoying his space to roam whether it's the carpets in his grandparents' house or the playpen at home. Dan and Kerry are dragging a bit because Jack's having trouble falling (and staying) asleep. Brand new gates have been installed; Dan talks about what kind they got. And Kerry explains why citrus fruit may not be a good idea to feed Jack right now.
