Jack is 24.5 Months Old! He's speaking in sentences, developing wonderfully, and was still at least Mr. 95th Percentile at his most recent check-up. Kerry, on the other hand, had a rough week of food poisoning, bronchitis, and worrying the whole time that she'd get Jack sick too. Meanwhile, Dan reports that work on the new playroom has progressed, but some of the work helped get him and Kerry sick as well. On our 10th show, we revealed that our baby would be a boy.

Kerry and Dan discuss the evolution of the baby name decision from years back to their final decision made months ago. Kerry and Dan unexpectedly found themselves at the doctor's office during Week 24. It's the sort of thing that will happen to all first-time parents, but in the end, everything is just fine.
Also on this week's agenda: responding to some of the feedback/advice from listeners, Kerry deals with back aches, checking out hand-me-downs from family members, and picking up new books to read to the baby.
An added bonus this week: the doctor's visit yielded a couple new ultrasound pics, as well as the first glimpse of the baby boy's "equipment," a topic discussed at the end of this week's show.

Our baby is just about a foot long and weighs over a pound, and the kicking inside Kerry's expanding tummy during Week 23 has just picked up. Kerry talks about some new things she read about in a new article, including the calming effects of hearing mommy and daddy's voices on the baby in the womb.
Meanwhile, furniture shopping continues and budgeting for the baby has been an ongoing issue. However, the good news from Dan is that everything looks pretty good from the financial standpoint for the new parents.

Kerry and Dan have returned home in Week 22 after travelling all over Florida. Not only did the happy couple (and their baby) visit Disney and Tropicana Field, but they also had a wedding to attend upon their return home. How did they manage all the sightseeing and planning?

Week 21 brings the parents-to-be to the great state of Florida! Kerry and Dan talk about their travelling experience on board JetBlue, as well as how pregnant-friendly Sea World is.

For many members of our family, Week 15 brought the first chance for them to see Dan and Kerry in over 20 years. It was also their introduction to the baby on the way in Kerry's tummy. The family reunion was wonderful, and perhaps there's a few members of the family tuning into the show for the first time this week!
In other news, Kerry's sense of smell has gone into overdrive around stinky bathrooms, and the book collection - for the parents and the baby - has begun to grow.
